Dan and Julie Snyder began working with South America Mission in Brazil in 1993 at the KBBI school in Aquidauana, MS. When plans to develop the Ammi Training Center began that same year, they moved to Chapada dos Guimaraes and coordinated the development of the school on what was formerly a campground.

The Ammi Training Center, founded in 1995, seeks to develop Indian leaders with the goal of seeing a functioning New Testament church in every tribe. The goal is to see II Timothy 2:2 put into practice so that the making of disciples will be passed on from one person to another and from a tribe to its neighbor. High priority is put on godly character and knowing God through obedience to the Word and in ministry experience. Other training modules at Ammi include agriculture, health care, carpentry and basic mechanics.

Dan is the director of the Ammi ministry and continues to teach in and out of the classroom. Julie has a ministry with the ladies and homeschools their three boys, Michael (1/2/95), Andrew (10/03/96) and Will (7/13/98). They cherish your prayers for their family and the ministry.
