The South America Mission dates its origin from the departure of Dr. Joseph A. Davis and his family for South America in 1914. There the Davis' joined with the Paraguayan Evangelistic Mission, the Brazil Interior Mission, and the Northeast Argentine Mission to form the Inland South America Missionary Union, which was incorporated in the State of New York in 1921.
